11/30/21 Schoolwide Update
Turkey Trot Rewards
Pajama Day- Friday 12/3  Students can wear Pajama to school.  Please make sure students are able to participate in daily activities and clothing is not shorter than 2ins above the knee.

Open Enrollment-
Families of students not enrolled on our campus can apply for the 2022-23 school year. If you have a child who does not attend our school or if you know someone who might be interested in our school, this is the start of the enrollment process. As a reminder, students do not need to qualify to attend our school. We are an open-enrollment public school of choice and the application only requires basic contact information. New Student application link

Re-enrollment
Re-enrollment open Next Monday 12/6.  Re-enrollment is the process of letting the school know you plan on your child returning for the coming school year. the form will come through ParentSquare.

Spartan Service Activities
Service is a big part of our character education.  As a school we have several service opportunities for students to live out our school motto.  Below is information on an upcoming service project.
Future Service Opportunity- Veteran's Shoebox

Founders Classical is partnering with DAR, Daughters of American Revolution, to help provide a better Christmas for our local Veterans by providing shoeboxes with items they will use.  Please be watching for communication from your child’s teacher.  He/She will be requesting shoeboxes, wrapping paper, and specific items to fill boxes for male veterans. Flyer attached

We have rasied  $46,640! Money Raise for Turkey Trot will be split between Academics, Students life, Fine arts, Academics, and Teacher support.  If each student raises $55 we will reach our school goal!

We Need All Parents to Complete 3 Easy Steps!

  1. Register your Child by visiting www.getmovinfundhub.com It's free, easy, and fast to register!  For School Identifier use 5d3881e1b4773

  2. Email and/ or Text your child's student fundraising webpage with 10-15 friends and family. It’s super easy! 

  3. Post on Facebook or Twitter It's two clicks of a button to post. The average parent has 300 FB friends. You'll be surprised when donations come in from distant relatives/friends from HS/co-workers.  Post and see what happens!

  • Help us reach our goal and earn:
    • $35 = Turkey Trot T-Shirt  For guaranteed shirt on November 19th, students need to raise $35 by November 7
    • $55 = Turkey Trot T-Shirt and Spartan Sticker
  • Go Above & Beyond – Be a Superstar!
    • Raise $75 = Turkey Trot T-Shirt, Spartan Sticker and Car magnet
    • Raise $100 = Above & Spartan Pennant
    • Raise $150= Above & Founders Crewneck Sweatshirt
    • Raise $200 = Above & Movie after school
    • Raise $300 = Above & Tie-Dye event after school
    • Raise $400 = lunch with the Headmaster and a friend
    • Raise $500 = Superstar Medal
School wide incentives
  • $50,000= Holiday Sweater/Outfit Day
  • If we raise over $50,000 
    • Highest raising class will get to Holiday Wrap the Headmaster, 
    • Mr. Smith will office on top of the school for the day
    • Mr. Koretoff will dye his beard
    • Mrs. Anderson will dress in silly out fit for lunch coverage
1st classroom/grade to reach 100% registration = Frozen Treats Party
1st K-6th grade classroom to reach goal = Pizza Party
1st 7th-12th grade classroom to reach goal = Pizza Party

We will be recognizing Veterans this Veteran's Day with a special Veteran's Day program on November 11th. If you have a family member who has served in the military, please complete the following form so that we may recognize our Founders Classical Veterans at our Veteran's Day Program.

Huge Thank you to OUR SPARTAN FAMILIES! We were able to stock the pantry with over 2000 items! The food pantry was grateful for your support!
